Safety mode in Congested Conditions; Normal mode when lead vehicle accelerates quickly or 20+km/h.

• Type: Toggle
• Default: 0
• Range: 0 ~ 1
• Menu: Driving > Cruise & Gap > Accel Profile > Drive Mode

Behavior

• On: Automatically selects Safety mode in congestion and Normal mode when lead acceleration is high or speed exceeds 20 km/h.
• Off: Keeps the drive mode selected by the user.

Usage

Compare acceleration and deceleration response between modes at the same speed and lead-vehicle condition.

Note

Automatic switching moves between Safety and Normal according to current driving conditions and can differ from a manually fixed mode.
