Allow lateral control even when cruise is not active. 0: OFF, 1: ON

• Type: Toggle
• Default: 0
• Range: 0 ~ 1
• Menu: Driving > Start & Auto > Engage

Behavior

• On: When lateral control is enabled in a forward-driving gear, steering can continue to follow the lane path while cruise is inactive.
• Off: Steering is available only while driving control is active.

This setting does not affect acceleration or braking.

Usage

Change this while safely parked, then confirm at the next drive start that the steering and cruise states switch as intended.

Important

This setting does not force lateral control on. If lateral control is off, enable it first with the applicable vehicle button or automatic-engagement setting.

Steering output remains limited at standstill, below the vehicle-specific minimum steering speed, during steering faults, and while driver steering input temporarily suspends lateral control.
