Arcanum Portrait Maker

Arcanum Portrait Maker is a standalone Windows tool for creating and installing custom Arcanum player portraits with the correct portrait file sizes.

This repository exists for Nexus Mods review of the EXE-based public beta package.

What It Does

• Imports a user-selected image.
• Previews the portrait crop and generated portrait output.
• Exports Arcanum portrait package files.
• Applies portrait files only after the user selects a target Arcanum folder.
• Creates backups and supports rollback for portrait apply operations.

What It Does Not Include

• No original Arcanum game files.
• No Starter Gallery or starter character pack payload.
• No Female Small Folk restoration payload.
• No Malek restoration payload.
• No Arcanum Restored V1 bundle.
• No hidden downloads, telemetry, updater, or network calls.

Review Materials

• RELEASE-MANIFEST.txt lists package files, ZIP contents, sizes, and hashes.
• SHA256SUMS.txt contains SHA-256 hashes for the release ZIP, setup EXE, review source snapshot, and logo assets.
• SECURITY-NOTES.md explains the EXE scope and no-network behavior.
• source/ contains the focused source/build/test snapshot used for review.
• assets/ contains the generated Portrait Maker logo/icon assets.

The release ZIP is too large for normal git tracking and should be reviewed through the Nexus upload or the GitHub Release asset attached to this repository.
