Closing — the CI blocker here wasn't x/net. govulncheck's reachable finding was GO-2026-5856 in the standard library's crypto/tls (via the HTTPS client), fixed by bumping the go directive to 1.26.5 on main (bb63b13); CI is green there. The x/net advisory this PR bumps is present-but-not-called (imported, unreachable), so it isn't required to pass. Thanks, dependabot.
