muv

Talk to the Movement blockchain in plain English.

muv is an MCP server that gives any AI agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.) the ability to interact with the Movement blockchain. No API keys needed — just connect and go.

Quick Start

Setup

1. Install

git clone https://github.com/shayansanjideh/muv.git
cd muv
npm install

2. Configure Your Wallet

Set your private key as an environment variable:

export MUV_PRIVATE_KEY="your_private_key_hex"

Or add it to your MCP config so it's always available:

If no env var is set, Claude will ask for your private key when you try to sign a transaction.

3. Connect to Your AI Agent

Claude Code — add to .mcp.json in your project root:

muv exposes 5 tools to your AI agent:

get_balances

Returns all non-zero token balances for a wallet address.

get_token_balance

Returns the balance of a specific token.

swap_tokens

Swaps tokens on Meridian DEX. Supports both AMM (stable, weighted, metastable pools) and CLAMM.

transfer_tokens

Sends tokens to another address. Handles native MOVE and all fungible assets.

get_positions

Returns Meridian DEX liquidity pool and farming positions for a wallet.

Architecture

User → AI Agent (Claude, Cursor, etc.) → MCP Protocol → muv server → Movement blockchain

muv is agent-agnostic. It doesn't bundle an LLM — your AI agent IS the LLM. muv just gives it blockchain tools.

Security

• Private keys are either provided per-request or read from MUV_PRIVATE_KEY env var
• No keys are stored on disk by the MCP server
• No keys are sent to any AI provider — they go directly from env var to the Aptos SDK for signing
• Transaction confirmation is handled by your AI agent (Claude Code will ask before executing)
• This is v1 — use at your own risk with funds you can afford to lose
