Brief implementation overview

  1. There are two separate folder holding the backend and frontend.
  2. The backend folder is named form-builder-api while the frontent folder is named form-builder-api

○ Key technical decisions made
Each of the project has there respective Dockerfile for separate configuration while the root folder holds the docker composer file

○ Trade-offs and simplifications made
○ Instructions for running locally with Docker
To run the project in docker, you will need to use docker-compose -d --build
This will trigger the endpoint for the backend testing while the frontend also fire up

○ Instructions for testing the application

  1. Clone the project
  2. To launch the backend, navigate to the form-builder. From there, detail configuration about the project can be found
  3. To launch the frontend, navigate to form-builder-frontend and run npm run dev

○ API documentation or Postman collection

  1. I tested the API endpoints and they all work well but I couldn't complete the deployment due to time.

○ Any assumptions or clarifications
○ Time spent on the assessment

  1. I got the info about the assessment very late which was today. That was because I have been sick since Friday night. I got the assessment on Sunday afternoon and I requested for an extension of time due to my health. But since I was told to work on it submit whatever I am able to do. So I started around 9:00pm and I came to submit it around this time

○ Deployment platform used and why
I couldn;t complete the live deployment due to time constraint.
I will be glad if I can be considered for aditional time

That was why I couldn't complete the readme file also.

Thanks
