TigerHacks Hackathon Project 2018

Idea: Create a web app for elementary-adolescent age students for reading appropriate news articles and videos to increase literacy and learning relevant topics

Overall goal is to build a progressive web application

Features:

• Give a featured article on a rotating topic on the main page
• Provide other reliable source content like videos and games related to topic
• Have reminder to read every day
• Allow for parents to view highly read topics (log)

Stretch Features:

• Explore further concepts (encourage curiosity)
• Having a points system
• Make social if in the classroom
