Hi, I'm Nicola 👋

📍 Milan, Italy · Rust + TypeScript + Python · Building the context layer for AI coding agents

Rust TypeScript Python MCP VS Code

AI coding agents are powerful but blind — they waste tokens reading irrelevant code and forget everything between sessions. I'm building the infrastructure that fixes both.

What I'm building

Vexp — Local-first context engine for AI coding agents

Analyzes codebases at the AST level, identifies the most relevant code via hybrid search, and delivers compressed context capsules with session memory. 74% fewer tokens, 30 languages, zero cloud.

Solo-built the full stack: native Rust daemon, TypeScript MCP server (11 tools), VS Code extension with LSP bridge, and a passive observation engine.

Metric Value
Agents supported 12 (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf, Zed, Codex...)
Languages parsed 30
Architecture Single native binary, 100% local, zero network calls

vexp.dev · VS Code Extension · npm CLI

Lumigo — AI-powered entertainment discovery

Owned product strategy, technical architecture, and go-to-market end to end.

Builder track record

I build things, ship them, and get users — consistently, without budgets.
