grabbed the new logo from here https://github.com/NewGraphEnvironment/mybookdown-template/tree/main/fig/logo_newgraph . Was going to just rename it to replace Logo.jpg but realized it was a png so thus the edit to the Homepage.html file.
You could try renameing the
Homepage.htmltoIndex.htmland see if it will serve on gitpages for you (see first screenshot for setup and second for where to click to see theDeployments(or weblink if you add it to theAboutsection settings top right of the repo.
