Keith Soderberg Self-taught engineer building production systems where software meets hardware. I design and deploy end-to-end industrial IoT infrastructure — from MicroPython firmware on Raspberry Pi Pico microcontrollers, through Flask/React web HMIs, to MySQL databases and Kafka-backed telemetry pipelines. My systems run on real trucks, in real yards, handling real fuel.

What I Build 🚛 Fleet Management & Telematics Full-stack fleet management platform managing construction equipment, fuel trucks, and trailers across multiple companies. Built from scratch — React frontend, Flask/Python backend, MySQL, Kafka (KRaft mode), Samsara API integration, and Tailscale-secured remote access across distributed nodes.

⛽ Industrial IoT — Fuel Truck Flowmeter System Designed and deployed a real-time fuel dispensing measurement system across a fleet of fuel trucks. Hardware + firmware + software, fully integrated.

Hardware: Macnaught M40ARP-2-E7 flowmeters, Raspberry Pi CM5, Pico 2 microcontrollers, PC817 optoisolators, custom signal conditioning Firmware: MicroPython on Pico 2 — quadrature/single-channel pulse counting, ADC-based Schmitt trigger, JSON serial output Software: Flask/SocketIO real-time web HMI, SQLite-to-MySQL sync over Tailscale Networking: ESP32 WiFi repeaters with external antennas extending CM5 hotspot coverage around 4000-gallon steel tanks
