I'm a Biomedical Engineering Master's student at Instituto Superior Técnico & DTU, specialising in explainable AI for medical imaging. I'm motivated by making high-quality, personalised care more accessible through trustworthy and interpretable AI systems.

🔍 Currently

  • 🧠 Master's Thesis @ DTU Compute — Developing an explainable quality control framework for chest X-ray diagnostic AI, designed to flag unreliable model predictions before they reach the clinician. The system combines a meta-attributeanalysis and counterfactual-generation using diffusion models to train a meta-classifier that predicts when the base model is likely wrong. Currently working with DenseNet121 predictions on CheXpert, targeting Cardiomegaly, Effusion, and Pneumothorax.
