🌟 About

A Chess app for organising Tournaments and recreational play. So, Basically, Shatranj 2.0 is a project that showcase everything that I have learnt in first 2 years of my college.

All the different pieces are working perfectly from API to Frontend and DB. The app is live on play store and backend is deployed on Heroku. It has a lot of cool stuff, including an amazing UI.

• Firebase Cloud Storage - For storing profile pictures, thumbnails, etc.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging - For Push Notifications.
• Retrofit - For making API calls.
• Lottie - For displaying JSON based animations.
• Glide - For loading images from urls.

📃 Backend

• NodeJS + ExpressJS + MongoDB
• Socket.IO - For realtime features inside the app.
• Mongoose - For Elegant MongoDB object modeling
• Kokopu - For converting uci format move to pgn format and vice versa.
