Small store for QA.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following installed:

• Unix (Linux, Macos)
• Node.js (>= 26.x)
• npm
• Make (build tool)
• Git (version control system)
• Docker (optional, for containerized environments)

Installation

Install dependencies:

make install

Usage

Start the development server:

make start

Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:8080.

make start runs both the front-end (Vite on :8080) and the internal API (Fastify on :3001); Vite proxies /api to it. In production a single Fastify process serves the built SPA, the product images and the /api endpoints.

The product catalogue and images are a self-contained snapshot under server/data/products.json and public/product-images/. To regenerate it run:

make seed
