It looks like the incomprehensible UTF-8 encoding test has now also become nondeterministic. I spent a lot of time looking at this last year, only to conclude that the bug is probably related to locale settings. I will not spend any more of my life on systems that do not assume UTF-8, so I will merge this if that is the only failure that seems to occur. |
