Prebuilt AI companies for the Ever Works platform: pick a company template when creating an Organization and get a ready-to-run org — teams, agents (arriving paused, you enable them), skills, starter projects and tasks — in one click.
Every company in this catalog is a plain-markdown package following the open
Agent Companies specification
(agentcompanies/v1), so packages here are portable to any runtime that speaks the
spec, and Ever Works can (in future versions) import spec-compliant packages published
anywhere.
The machine-readable index is manifest.json; the platform reads it
via the Ever Works catalog convention (ADR-014). Human-readable list:

.works/company.yml (the same .works/<entity>.yml convention as
.works/mission.yml / .works/agent.yml) carries only platform mapping hints (e.g. which
ever-works/agents starter template an agent
builds on). It never contains secrets. Other vendors' sidecars (e.g. .paperclip.yaml)
are ignored by the Ever Works importer, and importers of other platforms should ignore
ours — that's the spec's vendor-extension contract working as intended.
See CONTRIBUTING.md. Every PR runs scripts/validate.mjs
(structure, frontmatter, reportsTo/manager graph, manifest consistency).
