Add a centered hero with the app icon, badges, and a tagline. Add a Screenshots section (editor, debug, memory, agent) with placeholders for GitHub attachment URLs. Warm up the intro prose and drop the incorrect fixed panel count. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <[email protected]>

The attachment upload had a few pixels of green from the host desktop at the bottom edge. Commit a cropped copy under .github/screenshots/ and point the README at it. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <[email protected]>
Convert screenshot captions to bold-label colon style and note that the debug view docks the diff and history feed on the right. Rework "The idea" into a "Why Polypore" block with a designed-to-be bullet list. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <[email protected]>
