The old git diff --quiet missed new untracked files (e.g. golden images for new snapshot tests). Replace with [ -n "$(git status --porcelain)" ] which catches both modified tracked files and new untracked files. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <[email protected]>
