How to Run the AHDC Gain Calibration Suite

  1. Set up the CLAS12 environment:

If you are working from a system with CVMFS access, use:

module use /cvmfs/oasis.opensciencegrid.org/jlab/hallb/clas12/sw/modulefiles module load clas12

If you are working at Jefferson Lab, you may instead use:

module use /scigroup/cvmfs/hallb/clas12/sw/modulefiles module load clas12

  2. Run the calibration program from the command line:

    run-groovy AHDCGainSuite.groovy

  3. After the graphical window opens, select the input files.

  4. Click “Run Calibration.”

  5. The program will produce CSV output files containing the gain-correction factors and their associated uncertainties.

  6. Upload the resulting CSV files manually to the CCDB. If you do not have CCDB write access, please provide the CSV files to someone with the appropriate CCDB write privileges.
