RailsVacation
=============

Vacation message editor on Rails for managing procmail-style vacation scripts.
RESTful authentication on (My)SQL user database.

Installing procmail and vacation script is left to user.

Each .procmailrc has to INCLUDERC the vacation.rc file that RailsVacations
is managing. If this is done, RailsVacation handles the rest:
 - setting up the files/dirs
 - changing vacation message
 - toggling the vacation state

Vacation script should accept '-a' option for aliasing these addresses (which
are generated from user database):
 - username
 - [email protected]
 - [email protected]

Configuration
=============

First of all - set up config/database.yml for atleast production environment.

RailsVacation uses AppConfig plugin.
Copy the distribution config/config.yml to config/config.local.yml and change
as appropriate:
    datadir - where to put the vacation files (default: /var/run/vacation)
    remote_host - address of mailserver
    remote_user - user that can connect to that host and write to datadir
    domain - what is the domain of all e-mail addresses
    vacation_bin - where to find the vacation binary
    ssh_opts:
        :keys: - an array of ssh keys to use for connection (default: config/id_rsa)
    users_table - the name of the users table (default: users)
    users_table_key - the primary key for the table (default: id)
    password_field - password field (default: crypted_password)
    salt_field - password salt field (default: salt)
    old_crypt_password - toggle sha1/crypt encryption
    full_name - name of the user full name field. Leave blank if doesn't exist (default: name)
    first_name - name of the first name field. (no default)
    last_name - name of the last name field. (no default)


Localization
============

RailsVacation is localized to English and Estonian.

To switch language, edit the config/environment.rb and
set 'config.i18n.default_locale' as appropriate.

To add new languages, just translate config/locales/en.yml.
