Blue Switch Pro v2.1.0

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed cross-Mac switching — uses remove+re-pair flow to prevent auto-reconnect by the source Mac
  • Fixed peer command handling — CONNECT_DEVICE and DISCONNECT_DEVICE commands now properly handled
  • Fixed SF Symbol rendering — device type icons display correctly in menubar menu
  • Fixed async connection — uses non-blocking openConnection(target:) with delegate callback
  • Fixed connect retry race condition — state properly reset between retries

Notes

  • Both Macs must run this version for switching to work
  • After switching, you may need to touch the trackpad to wake it into discoverable mode
  • Make sure macOS Firewall allows Blue Switch on both Macs

Installation

  1. Download BlueSwitch-v2.1.0-macOS.zip
  2. Unzip and move Blue Switch.app to /Applications on both Macs
  3. Launch on both Macs — appears as a menubar icon
  4. Settings → Peers → register the other Mac
  5. Settings → Devices → add your Bluetooth peripherals
  6. Click device in menu to switch

Requirements

  • macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or later
  • Universal binary (Intel + Apple Silicon)
