updateTimefrom ~1.3ms to ~0.013ms per call (~100x speedup) and eliminates redundant DOM updates for the date.🔬 Measurement: Verified using a Playwright script executing 1000 iterations in the browser. Average call duration dropped from >1ms to <0.03ms.
