👋 Hi, I’m @annamorgiel.

I am an experienced Software Engineer for Android, currently expanding my skills in Data Engineering. I bring over seven years of experience delivering scalable, high-quality code in a complex mobile app serving over 4 million monthly users, at one of largest codebases in Europe. While working there, A/B testing features on a regular basis in close collaboration with the data analytics team sparked my passion for data-driven solutions.

During my Computer Science studies at the University of Potsdam, half of my courses were directly relevant to Machine Learning. I also already have my first internship in Data Analysis behind me, it was a 5-month role as a Data Analyst Intern where I expanded my practical experience in the field of databases.
Recently, I completed an intensive Data Science and AI bootcamp at Le Wagon applying Data Engineering.

Technically, I have mastered data collection and analysis using Python, SQL, Pandas, and NumPy. I build and implement existing Machine Learning models and have the understanding of their under-the-hood structure as well as practical applications. I engineer scalable data pipelines deployed to production using Docker, APIs, and GCP. I am now looking to combine my strong software engineering background and my experience leading projects in a cross-team environment to build resilient, scalable data products
