Client: Justin Lincoln, Art

Justin Lincoln has been experimenting with live manipulation of video using a range of algorithms in the Processing language. You can find some of the results on his Instagram account. His challenges have included the integration of libraries for microphone inputs, MIDI controls, and Open Sound Control. His goal for this project is to produce a suite of well-designed and well-documented examples so that others do not have to learn his lessons the hard way. Ideally, these examples will be clear and simple enough that an artist with beginning programming skills can read, understand, and adapt them. While some examples will begin with code Professor Lincoln has already written, other examples will develop ideas that he has lacked the technical skill to pursue himself.
