Hey, I'm Mohammed Aayan Pathan

Full-stack developer based in Dubai. I build web applications, mostly things I find genuinely interesting or useful. Currently finishing my A-levels (Further Maths, Physics, CS) and heading off to study Computer Science at university. Previously a Junior Engineering Associate at Voxa, a Bahrain-based public speaking startup, where I worked on real product features in production.

• FormulaMetric — F1 driver performance analytics platform. Custom metrics built on population standard deviation, Z-score normalisation, and quartile-based trend analysis. React, Node/Express, MySQL, Jolpica API.
• UniMetric — University rankings tool that enables users to create custom rankings based on factors they care about from the QS Rankings database (5 years of data). React
• Voxa Voice App — Real-time voice training app with live transcription (AssemblyAI), AI speech feedback (OpenAI), and full Firebase auth/storage pipeline. Next.js, TypeScript, Firebase.
• TLSearch — Semantic search engine for NASA space-biology datasets using vector embeddings and cosine similarity. Next.js frontend, FastAPI backend, Python.
