NFS Most Wanted (2005) - Mod Collection

This repository contains a collection of addons for Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005), designed to be used with the NFS MW Mod Loader.

The mod collection is organized into the following categories:

• CARS_REPLACE: Replacement car models and textures.
  • CTS: Cadillac CTS
  • LANCEREVO8: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII
  • SL65: Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG
  • EXTRA WEATHERS: Additional weather configurations.
  • SMOKE: Enhanced smoke effects.
• FRONTEND: UI and frontend modifications.
  • MANUFACTURERS: Manufacturer logos/assets.

Requirements

1. Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) installed on your PC.
2. NFS MW Mod Loader (a tool that allows loading mods from an ADDONS folder without replacing original game files).

Installation

1. Locate your NFS Most Wanted installation directory (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Need for Speed Most Wanted).
2. Also locate d:\Games\NFS MW\ADDONS from this repo.
3. Copy the ADDONS folder from this repository into your game's installation directory.
   • If you already have an ADDONS folder, merge the contents.
   • The final structure should look like [Game Dir]\ADDONS\CARS_REPLACE\...

Usage

1. Launch the game using the Mod Loader executable (usually Mod Loader.bat or a specific shortcut created by the Mod Loader). Do not launch speed.exe directly, as it will not load the mods.
2. The new cars will replace the standard game vehicles as indicated by their folder names (e.g., LANCEREVO8 replaces the stock Evo VIII).
