Tapt is a Windows overlay that shows your keyboard input in real time — for streamers, screencasters, tutorial makers, and live demos.
Native Windows app. Lightweight, transparent, click-through, always-on-top. Visible to OBS and standard screen capture.
- Live key display — see what you press without pointing a camera at the keyboard
- Two modes — Key Feed (animated stacking pills) or Keyboard overlay (60%, TKL, full ANSI)
- Behaves — transparent, click-through, always-on-top, tray-controlled, multi-monitor
- Built for creators — streamers, educators, product demos, accessibility walkthroughs
One-time Stripe checkout — not a subscription. Detail at razkom.com/tapt.
Installers are published on the Releases page. Grab the latest release, or browse Releases for older builds.
- Download the
.exeinstaller from the release - Run it and complete setup
- Start Tapt from the system tray
Requirements: Windows 10 or later. WebView2 is usually preinstalled; if Tapt won't start, grab the WebView2 runtime from Microsoft.
Tapt is paid software. Stripe emails your key after checkout. Paste it into the License tab inside Tapt to activate.
Tapt processes key events locally to render the overlay. Nothing is logged, transmitted, or stored. Your keystrokes never leave the machine.
This repo hosts releases only. Tapt is closed-source; application source lives in a private repository. Use this repo for downloads and release notes.
