💪 Project Abstract

Bastion Protocol is a community finance super-wallet built on Polkadot Asset Hub with native USDC support, designed to empower small groups through pooled savings, micro-lending, and dynamic rewards. By integrating decentralized identity (via KILT Protocol) and embedded wallets (via SubWallet/walt.id), Bastion offers a frictionless experience where users can form circles, deposit funds, request loans, and earn rewards with transparent, on-chain accountability.

The project directly addresses global needs such as student lending clubs, migrant worker savings groups, and village cooperatives. Unlike traditional DeFi platforms that target large-scale collateralized lending, Bastion focuses on community-first, trust-enhanced finance with DID-based reputation and simple, mobile-first UX. This approach ensures funds remain productive while being accessible for emergencies, creating a safe and scalable model for inclusive financial tools in the Polkadot ecosystem.).
