Releases: PikaMug/Quests
Release list
Xanthisma Update
Wisteria Update
Breaking changes! To ease support for Paper and future platforms, a new conversation framework from the mind of @IllusionTheDev has been implemented within Quests. Plenty of revisions under the hood, including performance improvements by @RVSkeLe, will necessitate updates from most bridge plugins and modules. Test this release thoroughly before installing on a live server! As always, please report any issues on Github.
Verbena Update
This release has been tested working with Minecraft 26.1 via Spigot. It is not guaranteed to function with Paper, for which there is no 26.1 version publicly downloadable as of writing. Please watch this space for updates on compatibility with Paper (and applicable forks like Purpur) after its release.
Ursinia Update
Tithonia Update
Sedum Update
Here's hoping the change in season brings you good vibes along with this new update for Quests! Improved parsing of quest names and a few bug fixes are included this time around. As always, please report any issues on Github.
Ranunculus Update
For just over a year, we've shaded the NBT API library by tr7zw into Quests, allowing outside developers to easily modify item/tile/entity data on all supported Minecraft versions. After much consideration, this library will no longer be included with Quests as of this Minecraft 1.21.8-compatible release. Reasons for this change include low overall usage and future-proofing. If your project currently uses NBT API via Quests, please either shade the library into your own project, or direct users to install their official plugin version.
Quesnelia Update
We've seen several hot, new Minecraft versions drop, so it's only natural that Quests would be updated, too! Besides ensuring Minecraft 1.21.6/7 support, a few bug fixes and language improvements have been applied. Consider joining us on Crowdin to help translate Quests!
Petunia Update
This update improves upon the versatility of Quests, with several quality-of-life changes which make creating quests easier than ever! Those with permission to reload the plugin will now also receive a message upon completion. As a reminder, always use /qa reload and never the server /reload command, which is known to cause problems with many different plugins. Please report issues on Github.
Oxalis Update
A long-requested feature, global quests, are now available in the Quest Editor (under Edit Options > Server (Global))! When a quest is global, any eligible player joining your server will be automatically enrolled and share progress with every other quester (no party plugin necessary). Please note that operators using an overlay plugin such as QuestsGUI may need to update that resource for this release. As always, report issues on Github.
