What

The weekly Check design library index CI job failed on the 2026-06-08 scheduled run. It wasn't a bug — the check did its job and caught drift: upstream VoltAgent/awesome-design-md added a new brand, nintendo-2001, that wasn't in our pinned offline index.

Live brands: 74 Pinned brands: 73
DRIFT — new upstream brands missing from the pinned index:
  + nintendo-2001

Change

  • Add Nintendo (2001) · nintendo-2001 under the Retro Web · Nostalgia category
  • Bump the snapshot count in the header from 73 → 74

The entry summarizes the upstream DESIGN.md: a Y2K Nintendo aesthetic that treats the webpage as console hardware — beveled periwinkle chrome plates, a halftone carbon command bar, and signal-orange wayfinding accents.

Verification

bash scripts/check-library-index.sh now passes locally:

Live brands: 74 Pinned brands: 74
OK — pinned index matches the live library (74 brands).

Upstream VoltAgent/awesome-design-md added the nintendo-2001 brand,
which the weekly check-library-index CI flagged as drift. Add the entry
under Retro Web · Nostalgia and bump the snapshot count to 74 so the
pinned index matches the live library again.
