Release

Promotes development-2026 to master for Cerasmarter v0.94.0.

The annotated v0.94.0 tag points to release-correction commit 9b0d07b and has been pushed to trigger the draft-release workflow. The mistakenly created v0.9.5 tag and draft release were removed.

Highlights

  • modernized bilingual light/dark WebUI with a live Chart.js dashboard and complete fallback controls
  • redesigned Home Assistant MQTT autodiscovery with full control, state, availability, and diagnostic entities
  • persistent MQTT/Home Assistant runtime controls, atomic configuration storage, NVS recovery, and explicit factory reset
  • improved Wi-Fi reconnect and access-point roaming behavior
  • configurable offline fail-safe and manufacturer-compatible 10 °C heating-off behavior
  • refined BM1 installation profiles and CAN mappings without speculative controller profiles
  • rebuilt CAN Analyzer with filtering, cadence/change analysis, interpretations, and JSON/CSV export
  • corrected controller reporting, CAN takeover behavior, release partitioning, and complete first-install image generation
  • updated dependencies, GitHub workflows, documentation, screenshots, MQTT examples, and API reference

Compatibility and deployment notes

  • Target scope remains BM1 installations; BM2 is intentionally unsupported.
  • A complete first-install image is provided for new boards or boards with an unknown or incompatible partition layout.
  • Normal firmware and LittleFS images remain available for established installations.
  • LittleFS updates preserve valid device configuration through the NVS mirror.
  • Release filesystem images contain only the credential-free configuration template.
  • The HTTP API has no built-in authentication or TLS and must remain on a trusted network.

Validation

  • pio run -e production — passed
    • RAM: 58,320 / 327,680 bytes (17.8%)
    • application flash: 1,376,427 / 1,536,000 bytes (89.6%)
  • pio run -e production -t buildfs — passed
  • complete first-install image generation — passed
  • firmware image: 1,376,832 bytes
  • LittleFS image: 983,040 bytes
  • complete image: 4,157,440 bytes
  • documentation JSON examples, local links/images, API route coverage, and git diff --check — passed

Changelog

The complete release notes are in Changelog.md.

Add categorized English and German translations, persistent theme support, dashboard diagnostics, CAN value labels, and browser-based fallback controls. Preserve configuration during filesystem updates and align documentation and release artifacts with the revised UI.
…bels

Modernize Cerasmarter web UI and runtime controls
Complete the Home Assistant heating command surface and boost-time state reporting. Align fail-safe and low-setpoint behavior with controller expectations, including an exact 10 C minimum. Preserve and migrate configuration across LittleFS updates, add factory reset handling, and retain file download names.
…ment

Refine heating control and configuration resilience
Refine BM1 compatibility and modernize controller tooling. This concludes this weekends coding marathon and long overdue features...
Fix MQTT setpoint state, make controller takeover start safely, and publish a complete first-install flash image with matching documentation and workflows.

Fixes #39

Fixes #40

Fixes #48
Fix controller reporting, takeover safety, and first-install flashing
Renamed the dashboard's derived burner-power percentage to "Feed temperature utilization" ("Vorlauftemperatur-Auslastung") to distinguish the feed-temperature ratio from the burner's actual thermal output.
Document current APIs, configuration, and integrations
