SANA-II network driver for the ENC28J60 Ethernet controller on the a500-sd-plus-controller.
This driver supports the following device:
The nework device driver is SANA-II compatible and should work with any of the Amiga TCP/IP stacks. Just copy enc28j60.device to Devs:. I used the old but free AmiTCP 3.0b2 TCP/IP stack from Aminet. AmiTCP is not easy to setup but luckily Patrik Axelsson and David Eriksson made this excellent installation guide. Just make sure you replace any references to the SANA-II network device (the guide uses "cnet.device") to "enc28j60.device".
Device downloads are available under releases
This driver currently uses a hard-coded MAC address. Therefore only one Amiga using this driver can be active on a single network.
Building this code will require the following
- VBCC
- VBCC m68k-amigaos target
- sana2.h which is copyrighted. I took mine from the AmigaOS3.5 Developer CD V2.1.
Building needs to be done on a real or emulated Amiga by running the build_net Amiga script.
This driver is based upon previous work by Mike Sterling.
