Public feedback, bug reports, crash reports, and feature requests for Roost.
Roost is currently a closed-source project. This repository does not contain the application source code. It exists as an open place for users, Android engineers, and local AI enthusiasts to report problems, share compatibility notes, and suggest improvements.
- Bug reports for visible app behavior.
- Crash reports with sanitized diagnostics.
- Feature requests and workflow ideas.
- Device, model, backend, and performance compatibility notes.
- Questions about expected behavior or supported configurations.
Do not include secrets or private data in public issues:
- Hugging Face tokens or other access tokens.
- Private model links or private repository names.
- Personal files, local filesystem paths, or screenshots with sensitive data.
- Full logs that may contain credentials or private prompts.
- Security vulnerabilities. See SECURITY.md instead.
- Search existing issues to avoid duplicates.
- Use the issue form that best matches your report.
- Include device, Android version, Roost version, model, and backend details when relevant.
- For crashes, paste only sanitized diagnostics from Roost when available.

Roost is under active development. Public feedback here helps prioritize fixes, device compatibility work, model handling, and local inference workflows.
The source code may be published in the future, but this repository should not be treated as a source mirror or an open-source release.
