##Description

Browse A Mall, an all-in-one website for you to browse through malls in Singapore with ease. Search all stores comfortably in one website, find parking rates, learn more about possible events and happenings in the mall! Feeling lost? Use our website to find your way through the malls! Free and easy! Feel like joining in a discussion? Fret not, discuss with other fellow shoppers in our discussion board.

####Scope of your project/Overview:

This project aims to create a user-friendly experience in browsing the different malls and stores in Singapore with an all-in-one browsing experience in the same website.The website would allow users to easily browse mall information and navigate inside the mall, finding their stores of interest. Users who are using this website are shoppers hoping to get more information about the malls. These information can be seen below(Browse).

####Features done Currently, we have done:

• Added in bootstrap to ease view on different mobile/tablet devices. This would allow users to be able to view and navigate easily on the website.

• Added in a Facebook plugin. This would allow users to be able to share the website with their friends through facebook.

• The banner image which is used on every page.

• Setup the email accounts needed to allow users to be able to communicate with us.

• About us and Contact us page containing information about us and how to contact us.

• Navigation bar which is use to facilitate the user to navigate through the website. Navigation bar would include all pages (Home, Browse, Parking Rates, Forums, About Us, Contact Us).

• Features in Browse Page

  • Search tool for different malls. This would lead the user to the different mall page.
  • Currently, we have mall pages for Vivo City, Ngee Ann City, Ion Orchard and Raffles City.
  • Each mall page would contain informations about the mall. These informations range from a guide to location, the mall's opening hours and contact number and shop directory.
  • The shop directory uses a search function where user enters the shop they would like to enquire and it would show the user the shop's name, unit and contact number. This would allow the users to be able to contact with the shop and also know where the shop is located in the mall.
  • Google Maps is used to provide users the directions to get to the place and a guide to the mall's vicinity. Users can also key in their starting location and get directions to the place using Google Maps. With this feature, it would allow users to be able to know how to get there using different modes of transport.
  • The mall's nearest MRT and Buses are also provided to aid users in getting to the mall.

• Features in Parking rates

  • The carpark rates of all malls in Singapore to allow people to have easy reference and access to them. This would allow motorist to be able to have prior knowledge about the parking rates before entering the mall.
  • The carpark rates are broken down into different regions(North, South, Orchard, West and East) for users to find their malls and respective parking locations easily.

• Forums

  • This page would act as a guide to users on the current sales and promotions malls are having.
  • One click login to forums with social network accounts have been implemented. This would allow users to either create a new account or to sign in using their social network accounts.
  • Social network accounts which users can login in with include( Facebook, Google, Instagram, OpenID, Twitter and Yahoo).
  • With the link with social network accounts, users can easily sign in to communicate with users in the forum.
  • Login in allows user to view new promotions/news about their favourite malls.
  • Forum page also has a Market Place to allow users to communicate with each other to buy and sell items. To ensure that people do not miss use the site, moderate is present.

####Testing

• We have asked our friends to test out the site and create accounts to the forums page.
• Users who used the site have also tested out the features and if those features help them enhance their experience in the malls.
• Tested out the information which users would like to have in the individual mall page. Before, we only had the links to google maps, nearest mrt and bus. After receiving feedback from users, we added in map of the vicinity and also a text box for users to enter their starting location.
