I am working toward becoming an Ethereum execution client engineer. My current work focuses on Erigon, SSZ execution blocks, progressive Merkleization, and the protocol changes needed to represent execution-layer data with SSZ.

My engineering loop: read the specification → trace the codebase → isolate behavior → implement a small change → test → review

My EPF7 project explores the Erigon-side foundations for EIP-7807:

• mapping existing Erigon execution-block data into an SSZ representation;
• building on EIP-7916 ProgressiveList and EIP-7495 ProgressiveContainer primitives;
• computing progressive SSZ roots;
• exploring generalized indices, Merkle proofs, and a small experimental debug RPC.

• erigontech/erigon#22446 — implemented EIP-7916 progressive Merkleization in Erigon's Merkle-tree utilities. Merged.
• erigontech/erigon#22528 — added the EIP-7495 active_fields mix-in used by ProgressiveContainer designs.
• ethereum/execution-specs#3053 — fixed JSON fixture fork-marker registration in the execution-spec test tooling. Merged.
• ethereum/execution-specs#2778 — moved fork module loading toward the Hardfork abstraction after maintainer review. Merged.
• ethereum/execution-specs#2738 — optimized ForkCache to avoid cloning unchanged fork templates. Merged.

I am open to:
