Smart Home Robot

Hello! This is a joint project between @Harshit-Saini0 and @Noah-Philip.

We are currently working on creating a Raspberry-Pi robot that is able to navigate through a home, detects and reports the current temperatures, and is able to leverage this information using ML to adjust a thermostat to the user's specifications. We built this using Freenove's Tank Robot Kit as a base as well as a DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor.

Here's a quick demo video of the robot navigating a home environment with random obstacles to avoid. You'll notice it has LEDs to indicate to the user how far away the robot thinks it is from other objects. You can also see it trigger a failsafe recovery after it is stuck against a wall:

At the moment we are still working on the Machine Learning Model as well as Smart Home Integrations.
