💡 Vulnerability: 코드에서 mirt::mirt를 이용한 모델 추정 실패 시, while (!exists('model'))와 try()를 함께 사용해 반복 재시도하게 되어 있었습니다. 만약 데이터 문제나 파라미터 제약으로 추정이 계속해서 실패할 경우 무한 루프에 빠지게 되어 전체 서버나 자동화 파이프라인의 리소스 고갈 및 DoS(서비스 거부)를 유발할 수 있는 취약점이었습니다.
🎯 Impact: 자동화된 파이프라인이나 백엔드 서버에서 악의적, 또는 비정상적인 데이터를 처리할 때 이 루틴에 갇혀 무기한 중단(Hang) 상태가 될 수 있습니다.
🔧 Fix: 루프 내부에서 재시도 횟수를 셀 수 있도록 max_retries 변수를 5로 지정하여, 해당 한계를 넘어설 경우 stop()을 발생시켜 안전하게 시스템이 예외 처리(Fail Securely)되도록 변경하였습니다. 또한 한국어 에러 메시지를 도입하였습니다.
✅ Verification: 단위 테스트 파일 tests/testthat/test-dos-prevention.R을 추가하여 testthat과 mock을 통해 강제로 실패 환경을 조성, 5회 이후 안전하게 루프가 종료되며 에러가 발생하는지 검증 완료하였습니다. 테스트 커버리지를 보장합니다.
