What is McNeuron?

McNeuron is a package for working on neuron morphologies. You can use it to:

1. Read .swc or .hoc formats and extract the dendrogram of a neuron, downsample or upsample a neuron.

2. Extract various features of a neuron; starting from simple ones, e.g. number of branching nodes to more sophisticated ones, e.g. distribution of branching motif or spatial density of neuron.

3. Edit neuron; adding node, slide a part of neuron, ...

4. Do above functions on a collection of neurons.

5. Visualize neuron, its dendrogram, and features.

6. Run Monte Carlo method to generate new neuron.
