Software engineer turned robotics researcher. ~3 years building in SaaS before I left to go deep in Physical AI
Started as an early engineer at Houseware, building agentic systems back when agents were still just research papers. Had a small exit when we got acquired, post which I spent a year and a half as a backend engineer at LaunchDarkly working on infrastructure, data and product. Briefly worked for an AI research lab(Conscious Engines) before leaving the safety of a job to transition into independent work.
My current focus is on how to make robotic foundation models more reliable. The research spans from failure detection and self-improvement loops to reasoning and planning in real time
Apart from these specific focus areas, some problem spaces I am deeply curious about
- Synthetic humanoids
- Continual, omnipresent personal intelligence across consumer software and hardware
- Bio-enhanced humans
If you're working at the intersection of any of these domains, feel free to hit me up for a conversation!
