- My preferred language is Rust
- The other languages I use are F#, TS/JS with React, and Python in order of experience.
- F# I use profesionally and find nice enough, plus it has some fun party tricks
- TypeScript and React I also use professionally. I like using Remix where I can as it makes the process much more enjoyable.
- I use to write a lot of C and C++ but now I use Rust unless I have to
- I use Powershell for automations that are less processing-heavy - think basic command-line "applications" / tools.
- I use Arch Linux on my personal machines, and Debian LXCs on my homelab (2 mini PCs running Proxmox, UniFi networking)
- On top of the LXCs I also have a handful of docker containers running on one of the servers, a few of which are custom (all Debian/Rust). There used to be a lot more but LXCs are easier to back up and manage.
- I'm almost always working on some sort of multiplayer game using Rust and Bevy
- My favourite colour changes far too often for me to reliably put it here, but if I had to hazard a guess it would be ~
#4f424f. - My favourite light bulbs are Philips Master DimTone bulbs which shift towards a lower colour trmperature as you dim them. Great colour reproduction and if you add some inertia to the dimmer then they feel very halogen-y. ExpertColour spots also great options
