i built react-shiki, a popular shiki powered syntax highlighter for react. it's got an intuitive, type-safe API and is optimized for performance in demanding react applications, like dynamically highlighting code as it's streamed to the client by an LLM.
at assistant-ui, i’m a founding engineer working on taking the complexity out of building AI powered apps. assistant-ui is an open source react/typescript SDK providing composable radix-style AI primitives and a library of well crafted shadcn-style UI components. this is the kind of work i most enjoy: designing APIs that make building complex interfaces and experiences feel effortless and composable.
