It's truly a disastrous version. After DeepSeek LLM is configured successfully, an error occurs when used.

But recently, Attu has indeed had several relatively serious issues:

• Milvus 2.6.x has many compatibility issues
• Pages often freeze when the collection data is large
• Query pages are prone to errors
• Docker image versions require strict matching with Milvus versions
• Some versions have a white screen issue after login
• UI rendering is abnormal when the schema is complex

As a result, many operation and development teams no longer rely on Attu.

Community status (2026)

Many production environment teams have actually formed the following pattern:

Milvus
↓
pymilvus SDK
↓
Internal management backend

rather than:

Milvus
↓
Attu

The reason is simple:

Attu is more like a demo/maintenance auxiliary tool rather than an enterprise-level management platform.

First, I want to sincerely apologize for my harsh wording and emotional expression in Issue #1014. Running into crashes while upgrading Beta 5/6, errors after configuring LLM, and complex UI rendering problems really frustrated me, which is why I said things like "disastrous version" in my comment. I'm sorry for giving you an unpleasant reading experience.

I know maintaining an open-source management interface is not easy, especially when adapting to a fast-iterating underlying engine like Milvus 2.6.x. I actually really like Attu's visual design. When I mentioned in my long comment about "no longer rely on Attu", I wasn't dismissing Attu's value; I was just raising the fallback solution we currently have as a user.

Thank you for responding promptly in this issue and promising to fix it in "this week's release". If your later versions (like Beta 7 or the official release) improve GUI version compatibility and Schema rendering, I'd be more than happy to test and provide feedback again. Sorry again for my temper, and thanks for all your hard work.

Don't worry, any feedback is welcome, I am just need time to fix, because I am working on multiple projects, if this beta version breaks your workflow, please use v2.6.x for now.

The old version is only a client side project, now it integrates a lot of things like sqlite and other tools like milvus-backup, everything takes time :) thank you~~
