How do I use this?

My parents forgot their wifi password and I'm trying to retrieve it from my phone since I had connected to it when I visited them last year.
I turned on debugging in developer tools, installed Shizuku, and downloaded the ADB files. Then I entered the following in command prompt to connect to Shizuku: adb shell sh /sdcard/Android/data/moe.shizuku.privileged.api/start.sh

But I'm lost on what to do after this point. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Same boat here. The readme says why you'd want to use it, and what APIs it uses but not HOW to actually run it yourself. Rather frustrating.

Well i am in the same place as you too. You can but the app from the playstore but i don't exactly want to spend money on it. Specially if it is opensource. There is not compiling guide for this either and even though i have done some compilation on linux drivers and kernels i am also lost on how this works. If i ever figure it out i will make a new thread explaining how to do it. There is almost no guide explaining how to compile an apk using Android Studio from source code. There is however a Happymod apk that you can download after you download it you can give it shizuku perms for it to work i have personally tired it. However i dont recommend it unless completely necessary as it can delete whatever it wants with shizuku perms download all your files and etc. This is one of the only apk that i have installed gets flagged by playstore scanning never seen this happen. In you situation of getting the password i think you should do this as that is the most easy way. Download the apk and install it after your done i highly recommend you delete it as it gets flagged via Playstore. I wont provide the link but search "Happymod WifiLists"

I reached out to the developer a couple years ago, he walked me through it, I made a shorthand guide that I will share with everyone else:

On Device:

1. Enable ADB over USB
2. Install Shizuku app
3. Install WifiList app
4. Connect to same wifi as PC

On PC:

1. Launch ADB and negotiate connection with device
2. Run the following command to initiate Shizuku API for root access to wifi credentials

adb shell sh /sdcard/Android/data/moe.shizuku.privileged.api/start.sh

On Device:

1. Open Shizuku, make sure adb shows it is running within this app, it means it received the pc command
2. In Shizuku, add WifiList to app list
3. Open WifiList app to pull wifi credentials

I tested the other day and it still worked on an android 13 device but I used the store app, I didn't try to compile it so I can't help with the errors.
