This Mod is iconic, being the first mod to implement Vulkan into Minecraft.

(Even before Mojang)
So, why stop now?
If this mod stops because Mojang finally decided to make its Graphics API to Vulkan, but this mod gives better FPS Stability (and since Sodium is gonna update for Vulkan, sodium would finally be compatible) AND its rendering engine is most likely more optimized than Mojang's so why not continue?

What I mean is, This mod makes my game perform better than 26.2 with all the other mods I have in the modpack.
So, PLEASE continue this project! With the advent of 26.3, seeing VulkanMod become even more famous for increasing FPS by like 100 would be a Dream Come true, even though I can't actually see that extra 100 (It's still enough of a buffer to where I wouldn't see a difference).

Vulkanmod will release for 26.2 when it's ready. But there are already test builds on the vulkanmod discord. So you can try them if want.
And no vulkanmod won't work with sodium even if sodium has vulkan. Because vulkanmod and sodium does the same thing differently. You can think of it like optifine vs sodium. And yeah vulkanmod does more than just more than implementing vulkan. It's a complete rewrite of the rendering engine. So you have to use either vulkanmod or sodium.
