I like this gem's idea very much! This is something Bundler needs.
However, it is really hard to answer the questions yes or no. How do I know if the update is going to be harmless?
It would be awesome if the gem showed the diff between the two versions of the gem: currently locked version and the one that is going to be locked after bundle update. After reviewing the diff, the decision of whether to update or not should be clear.
