Addon doesn't work anymore?

I feel like this addon hasn't been working for quite a while. looking into it now, this is what i see in the console:

is it possible that it should be search api v2 instead of v1?

Yes, sorry, I was going to publish an update that basically disables it on 4.5+ but never got to it. It should no longer be needed since Mastodon can now fetch replies by itself (and is better at it) so just turn it off.

does it though? I thought it only did that if you followed an account. But I want it to also work on accounts I don't follow yet. which I used substitoot for a lot

Mastodon fetches all replies to a particular post now (from any accounts that are at all accessible from the server). Does it nicely in the background too and shows a button.

If you mean the (basically separate) feature that fetched the last 20 posts in the user profile when you visited then there is no replacement for that (yet?), but it wasn't a much better experience than just going to their domain anyway, imo.

sorry yeah, i meant fetching a profile's most recent posts yeah.
There is a very particular reason why I want to use something like substitoot for that: reporting
I sometimes want to help report accounts that I see are harassing someone else so my instance might only see one posts but I want to see more of their recent posts AND include them in a report so it's not just one post

So I thought about this and I understand your use case but won't make any promises at this point. It can probably be a much simpler addon though if i remove anything but that feature.
