Iβve been making games for nearly 20 years; programming, designing, and, generally, doing whatever's possible to create systems and experiences that are capable of more than I thought possible. It's those systems that allow developers to find unexpected interactions, boundless possibilities, and provide players with the agency and freedom to come away with stories and experiences that are truly unique because of their own particular brand of hope, imagination, and chaos they bring along with them.
Games shouldn't just be the stories we write, they should be the stories that unfold from a scenario and toolset we present players. I've dedicated my career to try and constantly push beyond conventional boundaries and it's taken from platform to platform, language to language, across indie PC studios to multiple forms of AAA development to research into rendering solutions and procedural generation and even to finding ways to bring educational game experiences into school cirriculums.
I'm still always trying to find a way to balance work so that I can include whatever I can as a public resource for others to use and, hopefully, that manifests in some really fun ways for others someday.

I'm currently working primarily with Unreal Engine 5, Unity, Houdini, Gaea 2, World Creator, and EmberGen to find content workflows that fit neatly into well-designed, well-architected flexible, emergent systems that can all work together to create the basis for truly unique experiences. I could use a few more hours in each day to do so, but in the mean time it's the eternal work/fun/life balancing act, but I'll get there.
