Create list of objectives for each lab task

For each lab task we should create a list of the objectives of the lab in each area and simplify labs to remove things that don't meet these goals/improve the labs to amplify these goals.

e.g.

Bump sensor lab

Robot progress

• Creation of bump sensors/grabber sensors

Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of switches current and voltage

Skills

• Basic soldering knowledge

1. Bump sensors -> basic sensing

needs pictorial guides
needs a section for the soldering

Outcomes

• manufacture sensors for use on robots
• basic soldering skills
• basic laws of voltage and current

Merge in metal object sensing.

2. Anolouge sensing

Outcomes

• Manufacture of enhanced sensors
• learn about potential dividers
• learn about ADC inputs

IR

Outcomes

• build IR sensors
• more advanced soldering
• more advanced circuits

Ultrasound

Use premade ultrasound modules.
setup signal generator to sent trigger pulses
setup scope to trigger on trigger pilse
connect ultrasound and connect scope to output pin.
measure timing of pulse to and from sensor.

Outcomes

• Use of the scope and siggen
• measured the speed of sound
• knowledge of non constant output sensors.
