Even some basic deployment documentation so people can get their own copy up and running would be great; I can always hack around and figure out how it works as long as I can get it up and running.

I'd love to tackle some of your feature addition issues once I get a feel for how this works (if you're open to having someone else do some work on it; I know having a project on GitHub doesn't always mean you want someone else trying to integrate stuff into your codebase haha).
