I'm using TVHClient under LineageOS 20 in conjunction with VLC.
Every time I play back a channel, I get the following message:
"HTTP authentication - Please enter a valid login name and a password for realm tvheadend."
Playback cannot start until I enter the user name and password.
The message still appears even if I have entered the correct access data and selected "Remember password".
On a device with LinageOS 18.1, playback could be started without this prompt. Both the TVHClient and the VLC settings are completely identical in both cases.
A persistent authentication code is set up for the user in TVHeadend.
The same user is used in both cases.
