Is GTIN (non QR) codes tested on iOS?

I am trying to get this to work in Android and iOS with React Native, but on iOS only QR works. Other barcode are not detected.

I believe Apple ML kit only supports QR codes. Is this tested with GTINs, PDF147, DataMatrix, etc?

Hey @ddofborg - I tested this with PDF417 on iOS, and it was working correctly. I have not tested other barcode formats yet, such as GTIN, DataMatrix, etc.

If you have sample barcodes or reference examples for the formats that are not working, please share them here, and I’ll check them.

I was not able to scan anything but QR with this package on iOS. It worked fine on Android. I tested it in a simulator with iOS 26 on my Appel Silicon Mac.

@ddofborg - Use the Physical Device like iPhone & iPad for the iOS.
